Well let’s not wait for the Shamrock Run – We are kicking off the year First: in Vancouver!
Come join us for our annual Fred Meyer Fort Vancouver Run on March 3, 2013.
Rain, Snow or Shine . . . we will be there.
This will be our 5th successful year of organizing a fun family filled event that runs 1000 plus participants along the Columbia River and passes through one of the most historic areas: The Fort Vancouver, the Largest National Park on the West Coast. A portion of the proceeds supports the Fort Vancouver National Trust. In 2012 we raised over $2,000 towards our history, and our park and we are looking to double those numbers in 2013 . . .
The Fort Vancouver Run has something for everyone . . . short distance, long distance, kids run and plenty of activities! Plus a cold beer at the Rock Wood Fired Pizza (our longtime sponsor who loves this race) and so will you!

Fort Vancouver Trust (Visit Website)
Situated along the Columbia River, Fort Vancouver National Site's 366-acre campus is the only national park site in the Vancouver/Portland metropolitan area. Historically an integral Northwest hub, the site interprets the stories of the Native Americans, the British Hudson’s Bay Company, the U.S. Army at Vancouver Barracks, early aviation at Pearson Field, the world’s largest spruce mill during World War I and the Kaiser Shipyards during World War II.

"We double your efforts to feed the hungry while you run!"
Energy Events will match every nonperishable food item you bring on race day and donate it to the Clark Country Food Bank. 500 participants with 1 can of food = 1,000 cans a food for the hungry. Please help us support our community by donating to the Oregon Food Bank.
